While cleaning up my computer, I stumbled upon a few stills from the very first pre-visualization that we shot for Jupiter.

It was one night of shooting in our studio apartment - with friends (who just happened to be talented actors in their own right) Beto and Aisyaa, our regular DP and crew - over some pizza. I'm not sure if we even had the story all figured out by this time.

Recently my airbnb host in Lisbon posted this image of an old art installation by the Danish Icelandic artist Olafur Eliasson - and I couldn't help but feel that this easily could have been a still in the film.  I'm reminded of how excited Mo and I was developing the contained, post apocalyptic story.  Of course, our hands became tied once we optioned the script and lost the rights to produce it.  The film idea was put on the back burner, but that's a story for another day.

Fortunately from then on, we received some funding from MDEC to develop the script, carry out some camera and vfx tests as well as cut another teaser.
